Himalayan Museum and Sustainable Park (referred to as us or we) is a not for profit Company registered in Kathmandu, Nepal (registration no. 142944/072/073), PAN no. 603575394 with Registered office at Ward No. 2, Tushal, Kathmandu, Nepal. The company is also registered with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal who is monitoring all project progress as well as the use of funds concerning not-for-profit companies in Nepal. We operate a social project named Sagarmathanext whose official website (the website) is www.sagarmathanext.com. The website has a donation page enabling the visitors to make donation from debit and credit cards. These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each transaction you make through the donation payment services provided through the Website.
These terms and conditions apply separately to each single donation that you make. By confirming on the website that you wish to make a donation you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as at the date of your first acceptance of the payment for donation purposes.
We do not provide any financial return in any form whatsoever, including but not limited to financial securities (debt or equity), interest, dividend, profit share, rewards in cash, to individuals who contribute on www.sagarmathanext.com
2. The donation services
We will use your donation at our discretion but within the objectives stated in our charter which is the creation of the Sagarmatha Next Centre at Syangboche, Khumbu which will be a facility for up cycling & recycling of waste materials collected and handled in the Sagarmatha National Park by the local organization Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC). The donated funds will be used to support the construction phase of the Sagarmatha Next Centre as well as for educational waste management programs in in local schools and communities once the center is up and operational.
All payments through the Website are to be made by debit or credit card. Once you confirm to us through the website that you wish to proceed with your donation your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Himalayan Bank Limited. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation you authorize Himalayan Bank Limited to request funds from your credit or debit card provider.
3. Unauthorized card use
If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must swiftly notify your card provider. We are not liable or responsible for the usage of your card by any unauthorized sources. It is the card holder who holds the complete responsibility for the usage of their debit and credit cards on any platform.
3. Information from you
Before we can process a donation you must provide us with (i) Your first name, last name, address and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to for the donation. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, Himalayan Bank Limited, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of Himalayan Bank Limited’s terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a donation.
We won’t share your personal details with any other third party.
